WILLIAM J. HATHAWAY received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Syracuse University in 1973.  He obtained his law degree from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1977.  He also holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.

Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Hathaway spent several years in a general practice firm where he handled a wide variety of legal matters including wills and estates, municipal and zoning matters, commercial business and other civil matters.   In 1981 he joined Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company as a Claims Attorney where he was involved with a large variety of litigated insurance claims in personal and commercial lines as well as numerous policy coverage issues.   More recently he has spent several years with a personal injury litigation firm.

Mr. Hathaway concentrates on insurance defense and coverage matters at KSLN.  He resides in Syracuse, New York.
