Alan J. De Peters received his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, Cum Laude in 2007. Prior to law school Mr. De Peters received his Bachelor of Arts from Loyola College in Baltimore Maryland. He was admitted to practice in the courts of New York State in February 2008 and to the Federal Courts of the Western District of New York in November 2008.
During law school Alan was honored as the recipient of the Dean’s Academic Scholarship three years in a row. He was actively involved in student life and participated as a Senator in the Student Bar Association, member in Phi Delta Phi legal honor fraternity and President of the Moot Court Honor Society. He was awarded three separate awards for excellence in oral advocacy during his time with Moot Court.
Prior to law school Alan worked in both the construction and mortgage lending industries. He regularly represents companies and individuals involved in both the construction and finance industries.
While Alan focuses his practice on civil, commercial and real estate litigation, he also regularly works with many corporate clients on matters ranging from simple incorporations to complicated international corporate buyouts.
He is a member of the New York State, Erie County and American Bar Associations.
Alan and his wife Ann-Marie reside in Clarence and are avid skiers and runners. They can be found on the slopes of Holiday Valley most weekends in the ski season and at many 5k races throughout the Western New York Area in the summer.
