Mr. Duggan is a 1978 graduate of University at Buffalo Law School. He began his career

as a Prosecutor with the Erie County District Attorney’s Office. In 1981, Mr. Duggan

began concentrating his career in the area of insurance defense.  He started working as an

associate at the Law Firm of Smith, Murphy & Schoepperle.  He began trying cases in all

areas of insurance law including, construction site personal injury claims, municipal,

medical malpractice and auto and asbestos defense.

Prior to joining KSLN, Mr. Duggan was a founding partner of The Law Firm of Lustig &

Brown, LLP in 1987. He was the head of the firm’s coverage litigation practice and a      

managing partner of the firm from 1998 to 2008. In addition to successfully managing,

trying and resolving many complex and high profile insurance related cases, Mr. Duggan

has been an Associate Professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of

Law and a frequent presenter at continuing legal education events.

Mr. Duggan will continue to concentrate his practice in the areas of  insurance defense

and coverage and issues involving high exposure claims for the insurance

clients of KSLN.
