Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak LLP Names Thomas J. Cannavo Partner
Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak LLP (KSLN) is pleased to announce that THOMAS J. CANNAVO was named a partner of the firm. Cannavo concentrates his practice in the areas of motor vehicle, products liability, environmental and toxic torts, wrongful death and insurance defense litigation, including professional malpractice litigation.
Cannavo received his Law Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1993, where he was awarded the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Practice. He was a member of the law school's National Trial Team and a Director of the Jessup International Moot Court Board, where he represented the United States in international competitions. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Canisius College with All College Honors in 1990. At Canisius, Cannavo was a Raichle Pre-Law Scholarship recipient, served as president of the Legal Honors Society and was a student representative to the All College Honors Board.
In addition to being admitted to practice in all New York State Courts, Cannavo is admitted to practice in US District Court WDNY and US Western Bankruptcy Court. He is a member of the Erie County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
In addition to his professional memberships, Cannavo’s community memberships include Olmstead Parks Conservancy, Buffalo Fine Arts Academy and Buffalo Zoological Society. He is also a team member and past officer of the Buffalo Rugby Club. -30- |
